Michael Fortson is our Adult Minister at Canyon Creek.  He and his wife, Dorris, began serving here in August 2006.  Michael is a graduate of Abilene Christian University, and has served as a missionary in Tanzania, East Africa, a pulpit minister in Lufkin, Texas, and a Campus Minister in Nacogdoches, Texas.  The Fortson's have four children and seven grandchildren.

Addison Weaver is our Preaching & Youth Minister at Canyon Creek Church.  He, along with his wife Vicky, began his work with our church on January 3, 2010.  Both Addison and Vicky are graduates of Harding University.  They both grew up in San Antonio, but now reside in Hewitt, between Waco and Temple.  Vicky is pursuing a law degree at Baylor Law School.
